Item Refine makes your equipment +1 stronger and can give various bonuses.
  • Normal equipment has max refine level of +20
  • Shadow equipment has max refine level of +10
  • To refine an equipment, you need to bring it to Hollgrehenn /navi prt_in 63/60
  • Catalysts such as Oridecon and zeny will be required.

Item Refine

Weapon's Refinement Bonus

Each refine level on weapons gives extra attack bonus based on the Weapon Level and Grade.

  • ATK, MATK, P.ATK or S.MATK per Refine will be displayed in your status window.
  • Bonus ATK & MATK per Refine Over Safety will NOT be displayed in your status window.
  • Over Safety is defined as refine levels below 100.00% probability using Normal Ore.
  • All damage bonuses are cumulative for the total refine.
  • Additional weapon bonus based on the weapon description.

Armor's Refinement Bonus

Armors refine bonus includes Bodygear, Garment, Shield, Shoes, Headgear.

Every upgrade increases Hard DEF by Floor[( 3 + Curr_Upgrade ) ÷ 4].

  • Every +1 refine at +1 ~ +4 increases Hard DEF by 1.
  • Every +1 refine at +5 ~ +8 increases Hard DEF by 2.
  • Every +1 refine at +9 ~ +12 increases Hard DEF by 3.
  • Every +1 refine at +13 ~ +16 increases Hard DEF by 4.
  • Every +1 refine at +17 ~ +20 increases Hard DEF by 5.
For Lv 2 Armors, this Hard DEF bonus is increased by 120% while also granting 2 RES and MRES per refine.

Shadow Gear's Refinement Bonus

  • Shadow equipment are special and unique equipped on Costume equip section.
  • Can be refined up to max +10
  • The accessory of Shadow equipment can also be refined.
  • The bonus is based on item description
  • Each refine of shadow Weapons increases ATK +1,MATK +1 
  • Each refine of other shadow Equipment increases MaxHP +10.
